Photo Gallery - Winnie Griffin's friend Ann
We know this lady's name was Ann and that she was a friend of Winnie Griffin who was in turn a friend of Molly Preston. We'd like to discover Ann's surname and what she did in the war. The brooch she's wearing could just be a badge of some sort. If so, it's all of one colour and a little larger than the WLA badge worn by land girl Margaret who was standing next to her in the photograph. (See additional photo at bottom of page.) It's hard to be sure, but she may be wearing a wedding ring. If you can help, please get in touch.

This photo shows comparative sizes of Margaret's WLA badge and Ann's brooch. Is the brooch actually a badge? |
